PANALE project in Senegal sought to create conditions whereby women entrepreneurs could improve their incomes through the provision of agro-processing equipment, financial technical support.
The project reached 2,500 direct beneficiaries through 50 cooperatives that employ 50 people each in the peri-urban area of Dakar, Senegal. Today, PANALE processed agriculture products are sold in 5 established PANALE boutiques, in supermarkets in Dakar, Senegal and exported abroad, hence lifting women living in the peri-urban area of Dakar from poverty.
