Wood Fuel Carries Project for Women Farmers 

• 1 376 women fuel wood carriers received training on business plan/entrepreneurship, leadership skills and environment protection and management. 

• 4 Women Fuel Wood Carriers sub-groups formed, for group works, as well as reforestation campaigns

• About 59.35 hectares free land secured from the government for the afforestation program and seedling development.

• 280,985 seedlings developed, and planted

• Monitoring and evaluation Team established for the Women Fuel Wood Carriers 

• Increased political support from the Ministry of Women, Children and Youth Affairs, for Women Fuel Wood Carriers project in Ethiopia
