COMESA and NEPAD Agency Joint Information Sharing & Knowledge Management Training on CAADP - with a focus on Nutrition Security & Trade

The AUC, NEPAD Agency and the Common Market for East and Southern Africa (COMESA) Secretariat will hold a 3-day Information and knowledge management Training workshop, with a focus on nutrition security and trade. The training, slated for November 14th to 16th 2016 in Nairobi, Kenya, will be held within the framework of, and in support of the Comprehensive Africa Agriculture Development Programme (CAADP) framework. 

Launch of the Kenya National Agriculture Investment Plan (NAIP) Appraisal and Formulation Process in the context of CAADP-Malabo Declaration

The Comprehensive Africa Agriculture Development Programme (CAADP) is launching its second generation of NAIPs across the continent. A group of countries called “PHASE 1 COUNTRIES” will be receiving technical support to:

  1. Appraise their existing NAIP, and
  2. Formulate new ones that are Malabo compliant.

Kenya will be launching its NAIP appraisal and formulation process in the context of the CAADP-Malabo Declaration on 7-9 December in Nairobi.
