The Skills Initiative for Africa in partnership with Business Unity South Africa hosted a workshop on the role of business in skills development policy and the facilitation of partnerships for partnership. This workshop was attended by Business representatives from Seta Boards, BUSA subCET and SocPol members as well as BBC members were invited to the session as well as individuals from GIZ.
The key purpose of this workshop was to ensure that business speaks with one voice on skills development and education policy matters:
• Awareness of current BUSA/business positions
• Process for developing more inclusive future positions
