The AUDA-NEPAD is working closely with AU Member States to provide support to their preparations for the UN Food Systems Summit. AUDA-NEPAD has lined up an integrated programme of work for the next 6-9 months in line with the UN defined components of the National Dialogues. Our coordination and facilitation function and value-addition is premised on three principles:

National ownership and responsibility is cardinal. The countries will do it - our role with all the partners is on enabling support based on national priorities and needs.

The national ownership also implies exercise is fully and well-integrated in national institutional and policy frameworks including clear link into national and sector development plans and budgets.

Aligning with and connecting to regional and continental frameworks and initiatives - Regional and continental solutions are an integral part of sustainable national success.
