Special official privileges offered to NEPAD Agency by Senegalese Government
The NEPAD Agency has signed a significant Host-Country Agreement with the Government of Senegal, in the capital Dakar.
The agreement confers diplomatic security and official protection by the Government of Senegal to NEPAD’s affairs and personnel on duty travel to, or posted in Senegal. This also includes exoneration from all official taxes – thus offering a huge financial savings for the Agency.
The NEPAD delegation was led by CEO Dr Ibrahim Mayaki who signed the agreement with Senegal’s Minister of Defence, Mr Augustin Tine, acting on behalf of the External Affairs Minister.
