NEPAD honours Nelson Mandela

The NEPAD Agency to honoured the legendary Nelson Mandela at a special event in Midrand. To the background music of the Qwathikazi band, staff members shared their experiences with, and reflections of the former South African President and dedicated poetry and dance to him.

CEO, Dr Mayaki urged staff members to emulate Mandela in their daily work, emphasising that during and after the great icon’s long walk to freedom, he defended his values in an unwavering manner. Dr Mayaki said Tata Mandela was Africa’s only global rallying symbol -  a great privilege to be cherished by the continent.
