Fisheries and Aquaculture Programme supported Niger in assessing the economic contribution of its existing fish value chains. From this assessment, Niger will have accurate figures regarding its fish value chain contributions and hence develop effective means of increasing the returns whilst ensuring sustainability of the fisheries sector.
