CAADP Compact: The Central African Republic signed the CAADP Compact on 15 April 2011.

National Agriculture Investment Plan: Technical experts were deployed to Cape Verde from 14 – 21 May 2012 to undertake independent technical reviews of its National Agricultural Investment Plan (NAIP). Cape Verde is currently implementing its NAIP through the support of NEPAD.

Key Results
The Central African Republic signed the CAADP Compact in 2011, committing to prioritise agricultural transformation and development. Technical experts were deployed in 2012 to undertake independent technical reviews of the country’s National Agricultural Investment Plan (NAIP). CAR is currently implementing its NAIP through the support of NEPAD. According to the CAADP Biennial Review Report this resulted in improved policy development and implementation, 100% official development assistance (ODA) disbursed to agriculture against commitments, 65.5% of youth engaged in new job opportunities in agriculture value chains, 21.8% of rural women having access to productive assets in agriculture and an increase of 12,4% in agricultural value added per arable land
