Biography:

Rosie Pioth is based in Congo-Brazzaville and has been working in the media for over ten years. A former news coordinator at Africanews, she now strings as a freelance correspondent for France 24 and Associated Press. She previously collaborated with Deutsche Welle and Anadolu News Agencies.  A Pan Africanist, in 2008 she won the prize for best television report on environment protection, a competition organized by the UNDP in the DRC.
