The AUDA-NEPAD is collaborating with Skills, Systems & Synergies for Sustainable Development (4SD) to support member states specifically on organising the National Dialogues in preparation for the UN Food Systems Summit. AUDA-NEPAD’s focus includes ensuring the preparatory work leading up to the Summit as well as the Summit outcomes builds up to on-the-ground implementation and attainment of both immediate and transformative results. This is being done by ensuring the National Dialogues (a) have full national ownership and responsibilities through the nominated National Conveners; (b) are undertaken within and in line with existing institutional capabilities and development framework (NDPs at national level; Agenda 2063 at continental level); (c) supporting, in terms of mobilisation and discussion guidelines to ensure perspectives of the usually marginalised grassroots players and stakeholders are well captured in the national dialogues.
