Ethiopia was one of the first countries involved in the AU-3S programme during the pilot phase, notably as it was an original entry point for COVAX and represents a significant share of the African population. The AU-3S team engages primarily with representatives from the Ethiopian Food and Drug Administration (EFDA), working with Heran Gerba (Director General) and her team, as well as with individuals from the national EPI.
