The NEPAD Agency Fisheries and Aquaculture Programme was established in 2009 with the objective of maximising the contribution of fisheries and aquaculture to food and nutrition security in Africa. This objective corresponds with the framework of Comprehensive Africa Agriculture Development Programme (CAADP) and the Rural Futures Programme.  The document presents a brief review of experiences and lessons learned in the fisheries sector since project inception; and also provides the road-map for the NEPAD Agency’s Fisheries and Aquaculture Program 2015-2020.
