The Africa Infrastructure report summarises the results of the Study of the Programme for Infrastructure Development in Africa (PIDA). Outcome of the results would enable PIDA stakeholders to be in agreement with regards to infrastructure development at both regional and continental level. 
The report estimates the average GDP growth on the African continent between 2010 and 2040 to be 6.2 per cent, based on the Augmented Solow Growth Model. Outlooks for 2040 for the transport, energy, trans boundary water resources and ICT sectors are presented. An elaborate analysis of the institutional arrangements required for successful implementation and the risks to PIDA is provided.
