A high-level Summit on Africa’s infrastructure development has been discussing how the African Union (AU) and its technical body the New Partnership for Africa’s Development (NEPAD) can maximise domestic resource mobilisation through the private sector
The NEPAD Agency, UNDP and SADC hosted three back-to-back workshops, from 22-26 April at the SADC House in Gaborone, Botswana. The workshops were aimed at enabling African Countries to provide modern energy resources to their citizens.
A meeting of Energy stakeholders and experts in the Botswana has been addressing the key issues of how to provide guidance for African states so that that energy is made accessible and affordable to the bulk of the population on the Continent.
Donald Kaberuka, announced that the AfDB will host the SE4ALL Africa Hub in cooperation with its African partner institutions: the AUC and the NEPADAgency, and with the support of UNDP.The Hub will be part of the global implementation structure of SE4All.
